History of Andalusia Community Bank

The Andalusia Community Bank has been serving the financial needs of customers in Southwest Rock Island County on the backwaters of the Mississippi for over twenty years. The bank opened its doors on October 1,1979 with a charter from the State of Illinois. It was the first bank to open in the area, and today remains the only bank based there. The Andalusia Community Bank is committed to the needs of residents in many nearby communities including South Milan, Taylor Ridge, Reynolds, Edgington, Illinois City, Buffalo Prairie and Andalusia.

The Bank's assets have grown steadily each year since our inception, due to our extremely loyal local customer base. This has allowed the bank to continue to offer new financial products, such as insurance, Home Equity Line of Credit, Roth IRA and Education IRA, telephone banking and bill paying services in addition to the variety of other Checking, Savings and Loan products available (Account and Services).

The Andalusia Community Bank's commitment to the community goes beyond providing the financial services that help businesses grow and individuals realize their dreams; the bank is also an active member of the community. We are proud to support many important local organizations such as the Rockridge Business Association, the local Community Fire Departments, the Andalusia Township Library, the Rockridge School District, and sponsor many community events.

With this philosophy, The Andalusia Community Bank intends to serve the community for years to come by continuing to provide a stable, secure and friendly bank where customers can always "Bank In Confidence With Confidence.
